New at the market and for the first time at the Aircraft interiors Expo 2005:
The „MobileScan3D“ will be shown at the booth of DESCAM 3D Technologies.

New laser scanning system MobileScan3D.

“MobileScan3D” smoothes the process between object scanning and the computer aided techniques for model construction, reverse engineering and inspection.

The new laser scanning system allows the automated scanning and inspection of complex surfaces and also the measurement of large areas. Different scanning processes can be merged in a common coordinate system. “MobileScan3D” is especially suitable during the production-process for the quality check of parts being produced in series.

The system is portable and consists of a sensor, a 1 or 2 axes swivel head, a table support or tripod and a rotary table upon request. After a simple programming by
teach-in there is no operator necessary
during measurement.

Four different sensor measurement ranges are available with accu-racy between +/- 0,01 mm and +/- 0,25 mm and a scanning speed of up to 30.000 points per second.

Due to the axes and table support the „MobileScan3D“ is very mobile. Measurement is possible between some millimeters and several meters. The system can also be used with batteries and independent from the power line
in every place wanted.

„MobileScan3D“ convinces with mechanical movement on three axes, automated measure- ment, high accuracy and a short time for scanning. Inline-measurement followed by automated analysis is easy to implement.
The quality report afterwards is very flexible
to customize and meets every requirement.
