ning systems at different successful aerospace fairs, but we believe that a new concept and a lot of different exhibition areas will bring new energy to the aerospace industry. The most interesting for us are the specialists and executive staff attending the fair and of course the international exhibitors, too.”, describes Sigmund Scriba, the general manager of DESCAM, the decision of taking part in the AIRTEC.

DESCAM has been distributing laser scanning systems since 1997. These are used in the automotive, the aerospace, handicraft, research and training, art, medical and much more.

ModelMaker is a hand-held laser scanning system with more than 12 years of experience at the market. The scanner is flexible and easy to handle. It can even capture data of complex objects with undercuts and very fine details.

The laser scanning system MobileScan3D differs from ModelMaker in handling. Once programmed, it can capture data on its own. That’s why it is best used for inspection. Even with complex surfaces the data is captured very fast.

„Our services might be of great interest for the component suppliers, too. Sometimes it’s not possible or reasonable to invest in a laser scanning system. In this case we recommend our services. We offer scanning, surfacing, inspection, training, maintenance and special solutions. All services can be arranged at customer or DESCAM site. This allows both flexibility and fast accomplishment“, Mr. Scriba adds.

DESCAM is offering its services in Europe and on other continents, too.
