At the EuroMold in Frankfurt / Main DESCAM is showing hard- and software working satisfactorily. ModelMaker and MobileScan3D are both well known laser scanners at the market.

ModelMaker has been established at the market more than 12 years before. It is used world-wide within all kinds of industries. The supplier 3DScanners, London, has continuously improved the sensor, which is today available in the fifth generation.

Flexible and easy to handle:
The laser scanning system ModelMaker.

In capturing 3D data, ModelMaker is nearly independent from size, shape, colour, material, complexity of the parts and ambient light.

The size of the parts is nearly unlimited, too, because the measurement arm can be moved without cumulating the tolerances. Further essential features are easy handling, a broad range of applications and the possibility to scan in a defined coordinate system.

Half-automated and perfect for inspection: MobileScan3D.

The laser scanning system MobileScan3D allows the half automated scanning and inspection of complex surfaces. It is also used for the measurement of large areas.

The system is portable and consists of a sensor, a 1 or 2 axes swivel head and a table support or tripod. Four different sensor measurement ranges are available with accuracy between +/- 0,01 mm and +/- 0,25 mm.

MobileScan3D is especially suitable for quality checks of parts being produced in series. The check can be accomplished during the production-process (inline).
