ModelMaker D, the first digital hand-held laser scanner worldwide, does not only convince with its groundbreaking technology. Due to a long lasting, continuous development, the ModelMaker D is far ahead compared to all the other laser scanners at the market, as ModelMaker D possesses the largest scan stripe of 200 mm.

For the operator, the scan stripe of 200 mm offers many advantages: The digitizing can be completed in less time. This means a huge cost and time advantage.

With 140 mm, the ModelMaker Z also possessed the largest scan stripe, too, but the added 40 mm of the ModelMaker D increase the efficiency once more.

With its large scan stripe, the ModelMaker D is excellently suited for big parts, as car doors, fenders, sheets, car seats, bathtubs, to cite some examples.

ModelMaker D (scan stripes of 50, 100 und 200 mm) and ModelMaker Z (scan stripes of 35, 70 und 140 mm) are available at DESCAM 3D Technologies GmbH in Oberhaching near Munich. DESCAM has been selling ModelMaker since 1997, has experienced all the further sensor developments and knows the sensor and the scan software KUBE inside out.

Moreover, DESCAM will celebrate the 10th anniversary of ModelMaker there. From December 3rd until 6th 1997 DESCAM presented the ModelMaker H for the very first time in Germany.
